About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Android Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android development, with hands-on experience building robust and scalable mobile applications. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality Android applications that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin.
- Implement reactive programming using RXJava and Coroutines for efficient asynchronous processing.
- Integrate APIs using Retrofit and manage dependencies with Dagger2 (Dependency Injection).
- Work with Scarlet WebSocket for real-time data communication.
- Apply MVVM architecture principles to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Write clean, testable, and reliable code, including unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Mockk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring application performance, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Proven expertise in Kotlin, RXJava, Coroutines, Retrofit, Dagger2, and MVVM architecture.
- Experience with Scarlet WebSocket for real-time features.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Mockk).
- Solid understanding of Android design patterns, best practices, and Google’s guidelines.
- Ability to work on-site at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Tower, Jakarta.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Contract Details
- Duration: Minimum 3 months (with potential for extension).
- Work Arrangement: Work from Office (WFO) – IDX Tower 2, South Jakarta.
