Contract Duration: 3 months (extension possible based on performance)

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS and open-source technologies, ensuring their validity, quality, and reliability.
• Support build and maintain the INDICO data warehouse, ensuring its accuracy, quality, and reliability.
• Work with AWS Step Functions to orchestrate workflows and automate data processing tasks.
• Develop and optimize data transformations using Apache Spark (for large datasets), Pandas/Polars, SQL, and other tools.
• Support data ingestion from various relational and NoSQL databases.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues in Linux/Unix environments.
• Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices in version control and documentation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data pipeline design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (especially Step Functions, S3, EMR, Lambda, and IAM).
• Familiarity with Apache Spark for distributed data processing, and experience with Python and its related data-processing tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Comfort working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Understanding of version control using Git.
• Strong communication skills with clear logical reasoning in problem-solving and technical discussions.
