[262] Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Create clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, FAQs, and API documentation.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information and translate it into understandable documentation.
• Document software features, workflows, and system behaviors across the development lifecycle.
• Review, edit, and maintain documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with product updates.
• Support documentation needs for Agile and DevOps-based development processes.
• Ensure documentation follows established standards, style guides, and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in IT, software development, or technology-related industries.
• Solid understanding of software development processes (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
• Basic coding knowledge or ability to read and understand code (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with markup languages and documentation tools such as HTML, XML, and Markdown.
• Experience documenting APIs and technical systems clearly and effectively.
• Proven ability to create structured and comprehensive technical documentation.

Soft Skill

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Work Arrangement

• Placement: South Jakarta
• Employment type: 6-month contract (extendable)
• Work setup: Work from Office (WFO)
