We are looking for a detail-oriented and communicative QA Manual Tester to ensure product quality through comprehensive manual testing. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support smooth development and release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on applications.
- Create well-structured test cases based on requirements and user flows.
- Report defects clearly and systematically, including proper evidence (steps, screenshots, logs).
- Deep-dive into issues, reproduce bugs, and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Apply solid understanding of SDLC, sprint workflows, and release cycles.
- Conduct testing on both Frontend and Backend, including integration and API flows.
- Actively participate in grooming/refinement sessions, understand business requirements, and ask the right questions.
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure release quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a relevant field (IT, Information System, Computer Science).
- 3–6 years of experience as a QA Manual Tester.
- Strong understanding of bug severity vs priority and their impact on product releases.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and Postman for API testing.
- Good communication skills; proactive and detail-oriented.
- Experience in Fintech or Payments domain is a strong plus.
- Able to communicate confidently in English, as the interview process will be conducted in English.
