Project Overview
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing databases for a Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) within the Digital Business Integration industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data reliability, security, availability, and compliance in an enterprise and regulated environment.
Job Description
- Manage, monitor, and optimize databases to ensure system performance and availability.
- Perform database performance tuning and capacity planning to support system growth.
- Execute and maintain backup and restore processes, ensuring disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage database replication and high availability environments.
- Ensure data security through proper implementation of access control, data protection, and audit logs.
- Respond to database-related incidents in a timely manner and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Years of Experience: 3–5 years as a Database Administrator or related role
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 / 4.0
Database Technologies
- Proficient in one or more of the following database systems:
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- SQL Server
- Oracle
Database Operations & Reliability
- Hands-on experience in:
- Database performance tuning
- Backup, restore, and disaster recovery
- Database replication and high availability setup
Security & Compliance
- Strong understanding of:
- Data security and access control
- Audit logging and compliance requirements
Additional Experience
- Experience supporting healthcare systems or large-scale enterprise environments is a strong plus.
Non-Technical Traits
- Highly detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
- Strong sense of ownership toward data integrity and system reliability.
- Responsive in handling incidents and able to work well under pressure.
- Quick to understand business needs and strategic objectives.
Work Arrangement
- Employment Type:
- Full-time
- 3-month probation period
- Permanent employment (PKWTT) after probation
- Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 07.30 – 16.00
- Saturday: twice a month, 07.30 – 13.30
- Expected Start Date: ASAP
