Project Overview

This role will support the on-premise infrastructure and security operations for a Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) within the Digital Business Integration industry.You will work in a highly regulated healthcare environment, ensuring infrastructure security, system availability, data confidentiality, and regulatory compliance across hospital operations.

Job Description

1. Infrastructure Management & Operations

  • Design, implement, and manage large-scale Hyper-V Cluster virtualization environments, including hosts, storage (SAN / S2D), and networking.
  • Perform daily administration of Windows Server guest VMs, including Domain Controllers, File Servers, and Application Servers.

2. Cybersecurity & System Hardening

  • Implement and maintain security policies based on CIS Benchmarks.
  • Perform hardening on Hyper-V hosts and guest operating systems.
  • Manage Active Directory security, Group Policy, and firewall configurations.
  • Proactively monitor logs, analyze threats, and respond to security incidents.

3. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR)

  • Design, test, and execute Backup and Disaster Recovery strategies using enterprise tools such as Veeam.
  • Ensure RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) targets are met through regular disaster recovery simulations.

4. Monitoring, Capacity & Performance Management

  • Monitor infrastructure health in real time.
  • Perform capacity analysis and planning to support future growth.
  • Troubleshoot complex performance, network, and storage issues in virtualized environments.

5. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure infrastructure complies with applicable healthcare data protection regulations (HIPAA principles).
  • Prepare and support internal and external security audits.

6. Collaboration & Advanced Technical Support

  • Collaborate with hospital IT teams and internal engineering teams for deployment, migration, and issue resolution.
  • Act as a Level 3 escalation point for infrastructure and security-related issues.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 3–5 years in IT Security, Infrastructure Security, or related roles
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields
    • Minimum GPA: 3.5 / 4.0

Mandatory Technical Skills

1. Windows Server & Hyper-V

  • Strong expertise in installation, configuration, and administration of Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Hands-on experience with Hyper-V Clustering, including:
    • Live Migration
    • Failover Clustering
    • Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)

2. Networking & Storage

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts:
    • VLAN
    • Routing
    • Firewalling
  • Strong knowledge of storage technologies:
    • iSCSI
    • Fibre Channel
    • SMB 3.0
  • Experience supporting virtualized infrastructure environments.

3. Security Implementation

  • Experience implementing defense-in-depth security for Windows and Hyper-V environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Active Directory security
    • Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS)
    • Endpoint protection
    • Network micro-segmentation

4. Backup & Recovery

  • Expert-level experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery tools such as:
    • Veeam (preferred)
    • Altaro
    • Commvault

5. Automation & Scripting

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerShell for automation, reporting, and remediation tasks.

6. Monitoring

  • Experience using infrastructure monitoring tools such as:
    • PRTG
    • Zabbix
    • SolarWinds

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure hybrid environments, including Azure Arc and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
  • Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) such as Azure Stack HCI or Nutanix.
  • Knowledge of security compliance standards, including:
    • ISO 27001
    • SNI 8274 (Indonesia E-Health Standard)

Non-Technical Traits

  • High-Pressure Handling & Problem Solving: Able to work effectively under pressure during critical incidents, with a structured and analytical approach to root cause analysis.
  • Communication & Documentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and produce clear, well-organized technical documentation.
  • Proactive & Self-Driven: Able to identify potential risks and propose improvements before issues arise; a self-starter who does not require micro-management.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: High level of integrity with a strong understanding of the confidential nature of medical and healthcare data.

Work Arrangement

  • Employment Type:
    • Full-time
    • 3-month probation period
    • Permanent employment (PKWTT) after probation
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday – Friday: 07.30 – 16.00
    • Saturday: twice a month, 07.30 – 13.30
  • Expected Start Date: Early March 2026
