[276] Junior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines to support data processing and analysis.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Process data from multiple sources using data engineering tools.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python.
• Schedule and monitor data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Support data availability for reporting and BI tools.
• Collaborate with data analysts and other teams to understand data needs.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and basic performance optimization.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role.
• Good understanding of SQL, both RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and OLAP systems (BigQuery, Redshift, Hadoop).
• Experience building data pipelines using Python.
• Familiar with Apache Airflow for workflow scheduling.
• Familiar with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience or basic knowledge of data engineering tools, including:
  • Hadoop
  • Apache Spark
  • Airflow
  • PeerDB
  • Airbyte
• Familiar with data processing concepts and basic ETL/ELT workflows.
• Able to work with structured data and support analytics needs.

Work Arrangement

• Location: South Jakarta
• Working model: Hybrid (1 day WFO per week)
• Contract duration: End of March/April 2026 - March 2029
• Client industry: Energy Logistic & Distribution
