[280] QA Automation Engineer (Senior)

Responsibilities

• Ensure software and product quality meets business and technical requirements, including functional and non-functional aspects.
• Handle complex test scenarios and edge cases based on business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust QA automation integrated into the SDLC.
• Drive automation-heavy testing while performing manual testing when required.
• Execute, improve, and optimize automated and manual test coverage.
• Create, review, and maintain high-quality testing documentation.
• Analyze, debug, and track software bugs and defects with strong attention to root cause.
• Work closely with engineers and product teams to provide quality feedback and improvement suggestions.
• Contribute throughout the full product delivery cycle, from ideation to release.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with strong exposure to test automation.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Deep understanding of API testing concepts and API automation.
• Experience writing SQL queries for data validation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience using Node.js.
• Experience using Gherkin language for BDD-style testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as Mocha & Chai, Jest, or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining API automation test suites.
• Experience testing AI/ML models is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning.

• Location: South Jakarta
• Work type: Work from Ofiice (WFO)
• Contract duration: 3 months (extendable)
