About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across the entire product development lifecycle. In this role, you will focus on designing and executing automated testing processes, validating functional and non-functional requirements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure software quality and functionality meet business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop detailed test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated QA processes integrated into the end-to-end SDLC.
- Prioritize automation testing over manual testing whenever applicable.
- Perform both automated and manual testing activities.
- Conduct API testing and API automation to ensure system reliability.
- Debug issues and track software bugs and defects effectively.
- Create and maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Participate throughout the product delivery lifecycle, from ideation to product launch.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in testing AI/ML models is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning is a plus.
Technical Skills
Testing & Automation
- Strong experience in test automation and automation frameworks.
- Experience with API automation testing.
- Familiar with testing frameworks such as Mocha & Chai or Jest.
- Experience using Gherkin language.
API & Testing Tools
- Strong knowledge of API Testing.
- Experience using testing tools such as Postman and Insomnia.
Programming & Database
- Experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
Work Arrangement
- Placement: South Jakarta
- Work Setup: Hybrid
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Expected Join Date: June 1, 2026
