About the Role
We are looking for a proactive DevSecOps Engineer to support the development of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure within a fast-paced digital ecosystem environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to strengthen CI/CD processes, cloud security, infrastructure automation, and system observability while ensuring operational efficiency and high availability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or Fargate.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve system reliability and observability.
- Support cloud security implementation, including IAM, WAF, Secrets Manager, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure performance, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives.
- Continuously improve DevSecOps processes and stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD processes, and security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile and collaborative development environments.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Continuous learning mindset with strong interest in DevSecOps and cloud technologies.
Technical Skills
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and architecture principles.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and VPC.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt.
DevSecOps & CI/CD
- Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Familiarity with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience using security scanning tools such as SonarQube / Checkmarx / Snyk.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Familiarity with orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes / Amazon ECS / Fargate.
- Understanding of microservices and container security best practices.
Monitoring & Observability
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or ELK Stack.
- Experience creating dashboards, alerts, and centralized logging solutions.
Scripting & Development
- Proficiency in at least one scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Good understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications such as Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate.
- Experience with DataDog or additional observability platforms.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda.
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Understanding of database concepts and optimization.
