Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Legal & Compliance functions, including managing 1 Legal and 1 Compliance team member.
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering & Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Program.
- Ensure business activities comply with OJK, PPATK, and other applicable laws and regulations governing crypto asset service providers.
- Ensure timely and accurate periodic and incidental regulatory reporting to OJK and relevant authorities.
- Oversee KYC/CDD/EDD processes and the reporting of Suspicious/Cash Transactions (LTKM/LTKT) to PPATK.
- Act as the company's primary liaison with regulators, particularly OJK and PPATK.
- Develop, review, and update internal legal and compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Provide strategic legal and compliance guidance to support the company's business direction and future plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Legal and/or Compliance roles within the financial services, banking, fintech, or related regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of OJK regulations (POJK), particularly those related to digital financial assets, AML/CFT, and consumer protection.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and financial services regulations, including OJK and PPATK requirements.
- Experience working with or liaising with regulators and regulatory reporting.
- Experience in the crypto/digital asset industry is a plus.
- Compliance, AML, or related certification is an advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business strategies and internal controls.
- Experience leading or managing Legal and Compliance functions is preferred.
