About the Role
Naga Exchange is a licensed digital asset exchange operating in Indonesia under OJK supervision. The Treasury team ensures the company's daily movement of fiat and digital assets is properly funded, accurate, and completed on time.
As a Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for executing daily treasury operations based on established processes and transaction limits set by the CFO. This role covers both fiat operations and digital asset treasury, including bank accounts and blockchain wallets.
The role requires strong attention to detail, operational discipline, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly. You are expected to execute transactions accurately, complete reconciliations, maintain proper controls, and escalate any unusual activity or issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Fiat Treasury Operations
- Manage IDR balances across partner bank accounts and ensure sufficient funding for daily operations.
- Process customer deposits and withdrawals within designated service hours.
- Perform daily reconciliation between bank statements, internal ledgers, and platform records, resolving discrepancies before end of day.
- Prepare daily cash position reports for the CFO.
- Handle bank correspondence related to settlements, returned transfers, and account matters.
Digital Asset Operations
- Manage balances across hot, warm, and cold wallets in accordance with established policies.
- Execute on-chain transfers following required approval and signing processes, including verification of addresses, networks, and transaction amounts.
- Monitor asset-level positions and perform rebalancing when balances fall outside established ranges.
- Monitor network fees and maintain sufficient gas across supported networks.
- Reconcile on-chain records with internal balances on a daily basis.
Liquidity & Settlement
- Monitor market liquidity across key trading pairs and escalate liquidity gaps on the same day.
- Execute funding and settlement with market makers and liquidity partners according to established schedules.
- Transfer funds between exchange accounts, custodians, and counterparties based on authorized instructions.
- Maintain the settlement calendar and ensure all settlements are completed and properly recorded.
Treasury Controls & Reporting
- Apply dual approval, transaction limits, and address whitelisting to every fund movement without exception.
- Maintain complete transaction records and audit trails for all handled transactions.
- Escalate discrepancies, delays, failed transfers, and unusual activities on the same day.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and well-organized transaction records.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in treasury, settlement, financial operations, payment operations, or related roles within banking, exchanges, payment companies, or fintech.
- Hands-on experience with daily reconciliation, including identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and experience handling large transaction datasets.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working under time-sensitive conditions.
- Strong process discipline and ability to consistently follow established financial controls.
- Working proficiency in both Indonesian and English.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent performance and deliver results over time.
Nice to Have
- Experience in crypto exchanges, custodians, or digital asset companies.
- Hands-on experience with on-chain operations, including wallets, block explorers, and multiple blockchain networks.
- Experience working in regulated financial institutions.
- Understanding of settlement operations involving market makers or liquidity providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
