[229] Android Native Engineer (Kotlin)

Job Description

We are hiring an Android Native Engineer (Kotlin) to join a 6-month project with one of our clients in the financial services industry. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3+ years of experience in building and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin. You will be involved in developing robust, scalable mobile features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring code quality and app performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement new features.
• Apply industry best practices in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Optimize app performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 2–3+ years of experience in Android Native development using Kotlin.
• Proficiency with Android SDK (Software Development Kit) and Android development tools.
• Ability to work on-site in South Jakarta during the contract period.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks: Koin, Dagger, or Hilt.
• Knowledge of Room database.
• Exposure to or experience using Jetpack Compose.
