Role Overview

The Business Development Specialist role is responsible for driving sustainable business growth through lead generation, consultative selling, and long-term client partnerships. This position plays a key role across the pre-sales, post-sales, and client retention lifecycle, supporting digital transformation initiatives, particularly within capability building and technology-driven solutions space.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales

  • Drive lead generation through outbound activities, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
  • Execute consultative selling by identifying client needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Learning Designers and Tech Consultants to craft customized proposals.
  • Structure pricing, manage negotiations, and close deals effectively.

Post-Sales

  • Support smooth project onboarding in collaboration with Project Managers and Operations teams.
  • Assist during project execution to ensure client satisfaction and resolve emerging challenges.
  • Maintain clear, transparent communication, including client reporting support.

Client Retention & Growth

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to extend engagement beyond initial projects.
  • Ensure sustained client engagement and value delivery throughout the partnership lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or related roles.
  • Experience in System Integration, Tech Consulting, or similar industries is a plus.
  • Proven capability in consultative selling, relationship management, and negotiation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
