Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and tutorials to enhance user understanding.
  • Develop, structure, and maintain technical documents following industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement specifications, design documents, test plans, and deployment guides.
  • Work independently to ensure documentation accuracy, clarity, and completeness with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather technical information and translate it into clear, concise content.
  • Support junior technical writers by providing guidance and feedback to improve their documentation skills.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making for small to medium-scale projects.
  • Proactively identify gaps in documentation and improve content to optimize user experience.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, demonstrating strong writing and communication skills in a technical environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to document processes, methodologies, and workflows effectively.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into simple, user-friendly documentation.
  • Capable of handling intermediate technical challenges with minimal supervision.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot documentation gaps and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to independently resolve documentation-related issues and refine technical content.

Work Arrangement

  • Contract Type: Minimum 3 months (probationary period), extendable to 6 or 12 months based on performance.
  • Work Location: Full on-site at Jl. Prof. DR. Satrio Kav. E-IV No.6, Kuningan, Karet Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta 1294.
  • Work Environment: Collaborative full on-site work model, requiring close coordination with team members and other stakeholder.

Hiring Process

  • Technical skill assessment (e.g., HackerRank test, documentation test).
  • Behavioral and technical interview with the hiring panel.
